Description

The  Holiday  Inn  Resort  Orlando  Suites  and  Waterpark,  formerly  the  Nickelodeon  Suites  Resort,  is  located  two  miles  from  the  entrance  of  the  Walt  Disney  World  Resort’s  Magic  Kingdom  and  central  to  the  other  Disney  theme  parks,  as  well  as  a  short  distance  to  the  Disney  Springs  shopping,  dining  and  entertainment  destination.  It  is  also  within  a  5-10-mile  radius  to  other  major  Orlando  attractions  (Universal  Orlando  and  SeaWorld  Orlando)  and  multiple  shopping  and  dining  options.  The  property  offers  777  all  suite  accommodations  that  offer  a  living  area,  private  bedroom  with  a  single  queen  or  king  bedroom  and  an  open  alcove  that  offers  a  kid-friendly  area  with  bunk  bed  (double  on  bottom,  twin  on  top).  The  property  is  the  world’s  largest  Holiday  Inn  Resort  and  underwent  a  large scale  renovation  as  part  of  its  transition  to  the  Holiday  Inn  Resort  brand  in  2016. 

The  property  sits  on  approximately  22  acres.  The  property  has  14  guest  room  buildings  –  five  buildings  are  six  floors  each,  five  buildings  are  five  stories  each,  and  four  buildings  are  four  stories  each.    There  are  two  other  buildings  that  house  the  lobby,  Marketplace,  which  has  most  of  the  resort’s  food  and  beverage  outlets,  and  entertainment  venues.    The  entertainment  venues  include  3,000  sq.  ft  arcade,  4D  Theatre,  laser  challenge  attraction  and  the  Celebration  Theatre.  There  are  nine  elevators  throughout  the  property.    

Holiday  Inn  Resort  Orlando  Suites  –  Waterpark  offers  a  variety  of  room  options  ranging  from  475  sq.  ft  to  950  sq.  ft.

Holiday  Inn  Resort  Orlando  Suites  –  Waterpark  has  1  meeting  room  with  total  meeting  space  of  3,927  sq.  ft.  In  addition,  the  property  also  has  the  Celebration  Theatre  that  can  be  used  as  additional  space.  The  following  table  sets  out  the  size  and  capacity  of  the  meeting  and  conference  facilities  in  the  Hotel.

F&B Facilities

Located  in  The  Marketplace,  the  resort  offers  a  two-meal  full  service  (buffet  and  ala  carte)  restaurant  (Lakeside  Café,  serving  breakfast  and  dinner),  a  food  court  area  that  has  a  Subway  franchise,  Cravings  (coffee,  pastries  &  beverages),  Antonio’s  Pizza,  Hershey’s  Ice  Cream  Shoppe,  Hideaway  Lounge  and  Club  Candy.  Other  resort  outlets  include  the  Lagoon  Bar  and  Grill  and  Oasis  Bar.  The  resort  also  offers  room  service  (breakfast  and  dinner  only)  and  a  convenience  store  (Essentials).    

Recreational and Other Facilities

On  site  recreational  activities  and  amenities  include  the  Lagoon  Waterpark;  offering  seven  slides  and  splash  zone,  family  pool  areas,  Fitness  Center  and  24-hour  business  center.
